Zocks vs. Jump AI: Which AI Assistant Is Best for Financial Advisors?

Zocks and Jump are the two most widely adopted AI assistants for financial advisors. They differ in three ways: how the conversation is captured, how accurate the data is, and how that data is used to automate work after the meeting.

Capture. Zocks built its live transcription technology in-house and captures conversations without recording them, whether meetings are virtual, in person, or over the phone. Jump is a listed customer of Recall.ai, a meeting-recording provider. Jump’s no-recording mode covers video calls only (Zoom, Teams, etc), so in-person meetings and phone calls require audio recording.

Accuracy. Zocks’ real-time transcription technology also accurately identifies each speaker as they talk, so client information is attributed to the right person, even when a couple shares one laptop or speakerphone. Jump records conversations and generates notes from the audio, making it harder to distinguish speakers when multiple people share one microphone. Advisors who switch from Jump cite the time spent correcting notes attributed to the wrong person as a major reason.

After the meeting. Zocks gets the details right from the start, so the information it sends to your CRM and planning tools is accurate, too. That means you can build financial plans faster, open accounts right the first time, complete client forms, and keep your CRM up to date without having to fix notes first. Zocks ranks #1 in Ezra Group’s WealthTech Integration Score, ahead of Jump, reflecting deeper integrations that enable more post-meeting workflow automation.

What the Evidence Shows

  • Zocks ranks #1 in Ezra Group’s WealthTech Integration Score in both the Client Meeting Support and AI Assistant categories at 9.56. Jump scores 8.42.
  • Zocks is the #1 AI Assistant for Financial Services on G2.
  • Zocks updates individual fields across your CRM, portfolio, tax, and planning tools, including 370+ eMoney Facts and 200+ RightCapital fields. Jump publishes no field-level counts for integrations.
  • Client Queries searches your entire book and returns a list of clients ready to engage. Jump’s Grow and Zocks Insights analyze conversations and score advisor meetings for firm leadership.
  • Zocks built its live transcription in house and never records, on any meeting type. Jump’s no-recording mode covers video calls only, not phone calls or in-person meetings, and Jump is a listed customer of Recall.ai, a meeting-recording provider. Have your compliance team ask Jump where client audio goes before it's deleted.
  • Jump published a 2026 research report built from what it describes as anonymized advisor-client meeting data. Zocks never uses private advisor-client meeting data for external research or promotion.
  • Jump has the larger install base: 22.68% market share to Zocks’ 10.22% in the 2026 T3/Inside Information Survey. Both earned Software All-Star status.
  • Zocks is the AI assistant chosen by Hightower, LPL Financial, and 7 of the 9 Barron’s Top Mega RIAs.
  • Anthropic selected Zocks as a launch partner for Claude for Financial Advisors to provide client conversation data through Zocks MCP. The selection was based on Zocks' data accuracy, MCP capabilities, widespread adoption, and customer satisfaction.

What the Independent Rankings Measure

Three independent sources come up in this comparison. Each measures something different.

Ezra Group WealthTech Integration Score

The WealthTech Integration Score (WTIS) rates how well an application connects to the rest of the advisor stack. Ezra Group scores every product on a 10-point scale across three weighted criteria: depth of data exchange at 50%, breadth of integrations at 25%, and developer usability at 25%. Scores map to four tiers, and the Superior tier starts at 8.0.

Depth carries half the score because Ezra Group rates every integration from Level 1 to Level 5. Level 1 is single sign-on: credentials pass through, no data moves. Level 4 is bi-directional transfer. Level 5 is bi-directional transfer where the receiving application also acts on the data, such as triggering a workflow, and Ezra Group audits Level 5 claims before approving them.

Vendors cannot pay for a higher score, and there is no opt-out. Michael Kitces describes the score as “a simple, powerful way to evaluate solutions based on their ability to pass data back and forth.”

In Client Meeting Support, the category Ezra Group uses for advisor meeting tools, Zocks ranks first at 9.56. Zocks also ranks first in the AI Assistant category. Jump scores 8.42 in both.

Rank Product WTIS Score Tier
2 Zeplyn.ai 9.49 Superior
3 GReminders 8.55 Superior
4 Jump 8.42 Superior
5 CopyTalk 7.79 Excellent
8 Fireflies 6.29 Excellent
13 Fathom 5.39 Average
17 Hazel 5.04 Average

Ezra Group WealthTech Integration Score, Client Meeting Support category, retrieved September 24, 2026. Tiers: Superior 8.0 to 10.0, Excellent 6.0 to 7.9, Average 4.0 to 5.9.

Both platforms sit in the Superior tier. The 1.14-point gap between them comes from depth: how many of each platform’s integrations move data in both directions and act on it once it arrives.

Check the score yourself, because scores update as vendors submit new integration data. Jump’s comparison page cites 8.63 for Jump and 8.14 for Zocks, attributed to a WealthTech Today article that contains no WealthTech Integration Scores at all. The figures Ezra Group publishes are the ones in the table above.

G2 User Reviews

Zocks is the #1 AI Assistant for Financial Services on G2, a category of 25 products. To qualify for it at all, a product has to structure client conversations, write into CRM or financial software, and carry financial compliance controls, which is why generic AI notetakers do not appear in it.

G2 builds category rankings from customer reviews rather than editorial judgment. Every review has to come from a verified person at a verified company who uses the software, and a human moderator reviews every submission before it publishes. Vendors cannot buy position: G2 states that it does not allow paid placements in any of its ratings, rankings, or reports.

Zocks holds 4.7 out of 5 across 672 verified reviews. Jump holds 4.7 across 134. The ratings match, and the Zocks rating rests on more than six times the review volume, which carries weight in a ranking that counts review quantity and recency.

T3/Inside Information Software Survey

The 2026 T3/Inside Information Software Survey is the most widely cited annual technology adoption study in the advisory industry, covering 2,906 financial advisors. Zocks and Jump both earned Software All-Star status, the survey’s top quality designation.

Jump holds 22.68% market share to Zocks’ 10.22%. These numbers need two pieces of context.

First, it measures reach. Market share is the share of surveyed advisors who use each product, built up over every year the vendor has been selling. Jump also had a head start at two of the largest independent broker-dealers. LPL added Jump to its Vendor Affinity Program in November 2024, and Cetera partnered with Jump in May 2025. Cetera selected Zocks in March 2026 and LPL added Zocks in September 2026. Current growth shows up in next year's survey.

Second, it covers only part of the market. The survey recruited through NAPFA, the Financial Planning Association, the XY Planning Network, and T3 and Inside Information subscribers. Only 4.40% of the 2,906 respondents were brokerage or wirehouse advisors. The authors acknowledge this limitation themselves:

"This is hardly a representative sample of the brokerage industry, but, as we point out elsewhere, it might represent a reasonable sample of the small number of brokerage teams that have permission to shop for solutions outside the firm's in-house solutions."

2026 T3/Inside Information Advisor Software Survey

That means the survey doesn't adequately represent advisors and agents at large financial institutions, including wirehouses, national and regional broker-dealers, banks, and life insurance carriers. At many of these organizations, technology decisions are made at the enterprise level rather than by individual advisors or agents. A significant share of Zocks deployments are within these organizations, and that adoption isn't fully reflected in the survey.

Jump leads in adoption among the independent advisors represented in the survey. But those results don't establish which platform has greater adoption across the broader wealth management and life insurance markets. Both Zocks and Jump also earned Software All-Star status in the survey.

The Five Questions That Decide Between Zocks and Jump

1. Is Zocks or Jump more accurate?

Every step after the meeting depends on the information captured during it. With one click, Zocks updates your CRM and financial planning systems to dramatically accelerate follow-up work, from building financial plans to opening accounts. That makes getting the details right from the start critical.

AI assistants can make two types of mistakes: capturing a detail incorrectly or attributing it to the wrong person. Both can create problems downstream. An incorrect contribution amount, retirement date, or beneficiary can affect financial plans and projections. Information attributed to the wrong person can be even harder to catch.

Speaker attribution is relatively straightforward when everyone joins a video call from their own device, with a separate audio stream for each person. It's much harder when a couple sits across your desk, a family gathers around a conference table, or two spouses share a speakerphone. Everyone speaks through the same microphone, and the AI assistant has to distinguish who said what.

When an AI assistant gets this wrong, one spouse's health condition might appear in the other's notes. If incorrect information makes its way into financial plans, client records, or compliance documentation, it can create significant problems for advisors and their firms.

Jump records in-person meetings through a browser or phone and generates notes from the audio. Zocks identifies speakers in real time as they talk, accurately attributing information without requiring advisors to manually identify each speaker. Every captured data point also links back to the moment it was said, making it easy to verify.

Advisors who switched from Jump describe the difference:

Jump falls down on the actual transition from note to contact management. Oftentimes it assigns notes to wrong individuals. That was the one that pushed us over to Zocks.

Cody Makela, CFP®, Partner, Arlington Financial Advisors

So Jump was good, but I find Zocks is better. One of the main reasons is when I do trustee meetings, there are multiple people on the call. And Zocks is just much better at assigning who’s saying what to the right individual, which is a big deal.

James Levine, Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist℠, Ambassador Financial Management (part of Cetera)

2. Is Zocks or Jump better for CRM and planning integrations?

The information clients share in conversations is some of the most valuable data a firm can capture. Zocks captures those details, along with information from emails and documents, and updates your CRM, financial planning, portfolio management, and other systems.

Through two-way connections to 40+ platforms, Zocks updates individual fields across each system, including 370+ in eMoney and 200+ in RightCapital. This depth means more complete, accurate client records with far less manual data entry. It also helps automate time-consuming work like client onboarding, financial planning, meeting preparation, account opening, and filling out client forms — including your firm's own PDFs. Review what Zocks captured, edit if needed, then sync.

Jump publishes 40+ integrations and describes two-way connections into CRM and planning platforms including eMoney and RightCapital. Jump does not publish field-level counts, so ask for them in a demo.

The number of connectors tells you where a tool reaches. The number of fields tells you how much data entry disappears after every meeting. Ezra Group gives depth twice the weight of breadth for the same reason.

3. What can Zocks and Jump do across your book of business?

Once your client data is connected, AI can work across all of it.

Zocks and Jump both give firm leaders a firm-wide view of client conversations. Zocks Insights and Jump’s Grow both analyze what's said across client meetings, track how each advisor runs them, and show leaders where to coach.

Zocks and Jump both also flag signals on individual clients. Zocks Client Signals catches life and business events as they come up in conversations and emails, like a new child, a marriage, or a retirement, so you can reach out first. Each signal sits on one client's record.

Zocks Client Queries goes further. It combines those signals with every conversation, email, and document into a structured record of each client that AI can search, across your whole book or your whole firm. Ask "which clients have young kids and term life insurance that doesn’t cover their mortgage?" and Zocks returns the list of matching clients, each with its source, ready for you to reach out.

Zocks and Jump both show you what's being said across your book. Only Zocks shows you exactly who to call now to grow your business.

4. Does Zocks or Jump record client meetings?

Clients often do not want their private conversations recorded. Zocks transcribes and never records, so there is no audio or video file to archive, supervise, or produce in a legal dispute.

Jump records conversations by default but does support a ‘summary-only mode’ for Zoom, MS Teams, and Google Meet virtual meetings. In-person meetings, mobile phone calls, and VoIP calls are still captured by recording audio first.

Recall.ai, which describes itself as "the infrastructure behind all your favorite meeting recording products," lists Jump among the fintech platforms it serves, and its financial advisor page describes capturing meetings "with a visible bot, so all participants know they're being recorded." Zocks uses no third-party meeting-bot or recording provider. Have your compliance team ask Jump which of your meeting types are captured by a third-party bot, and what exists before it is deleted.

Both platforms are SOC 2 Type 2 certified. With Zocks there is no recording to govern, because the architecture never creates one.

5. Is Zocks or Jump a better fit for a large firm or broker-dealer?

Deploying AI across a large financial services firm requires more than advisor adoption. Firms need centralized governance, security, reporting, and the flexibility to integrate AI into their existing systems and workflows.

Zocks is built for enterprise-wide deployments, with centralized administration, role-based access, organizational hierarchies, SAML SSO, PII redaction, configurable data retention, reporting, and extensibility. Zocks also brings experience deploying AI at large financial institutions, with hands-on support to help firms roll out the technology, drive advisor adoption, and achieve results at scale.

That combination of enterprise capabilities and service is a major reason leading financial institutions choose Zocks. Its customers include 7 of Barron’s Top 9 Mega RIAs and 2 of the 3 largest life insurance carriers. Hightower selected Zocks as its exclusive AI assistant in May 2026, and MassMutual’s Private Wealth Division also runs on Zocks.

Jump also supports enterprise deployments and has relationships with major financial institutions, including LPL Financial, Osaic, and Cetera. Both platforms support advisor-led adoption at these and other broker-dealers, where individual advisors can choose which approved tools to use.

When evaluating AI for your firm, look beyond advisor adoption at individual broker-dealers (particularly those that exclusively offered one of the two AI tools for a year or more). Ask each vendor for references from firms of similar size, with comparable governance requirements and the same CRM, financial planning, and other core systems. That will give you a better picture of how well each platform supports enterprise-wide deployment

Customer quotes & case studies

There’s an extra level of complication with the way Jump records. Zocks wasn't an AI tool adapted for finance. It was built organically on a compliance platform.

Lucila Williams, CFP®, LOTUS Financial Partners

Jump says, here's the information. Just trust us. And you're like, 'but where are you getting this?' Zocks shows you exactly where you talk about it, points you to where it's getting that data from.

Cody Makela, CFP®, Arlington Financial Advisors

We chose Zocks over Jump because Zocks doesn’t record, automates more things (like emails), and is easier to use. It’s also very accurate and provides better, more actionable insights.

Kelly Winzig, Executive Assistant to President, W.H. Black & Company, on G2

It’s truly a time-saving tool that fits nicely into our workflow. We looked at Jump and after making our comparisons, we were compelled to request a demo with Zocks only.

– David Grano, Financial Planner, Wealth Plan Partners

I switched from Jump to Zocks and it took one client meeting to know I'd made the right choice. The meeting preparation alone sets it apart. It was easy to customize for my onboarding process and meeting types, and the default format already matched how I think and talk with clients. It captures the information that matters and presents it in a way that's immediately useful.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the main difference between Zocks and Jump?

Zocks writes conversation data into your systems at the field level and searches your whole book so you can act on what it finds. Jump automates the meeting lifecycle and reports on how advisors run meetings. On Ezra Group’s WealthTech Integration Score, Zocks ranks first in both the Client Meeting Support and AI Assistant categories at 9.56, and Jump scores 8.42.

How is my client conversation data used?

In January 2026 Jump published the 2026 Financial Advisor Insights Report, which its announcement describes as an analysis of anonymized advisor-client meeting data. Jump's License and Services Agreement, Section 6(b), gives Jump the right to convert Customer Data to Anonymized Data "for any legal purpose," and Section 10(c) excludes Anonymized Data from what Jump deletes when a customer terminates. Zocks never uses any form of client data to publish studies or train LLMs.

Which firms have chosen Jump over Zocks?

Jump’s published client list includes &Partners, Higginbotham, LPL Financial, and EP Wealth. Both platforms have real enterprise adoption. Weigh integration depth, recording policy, and fit with your existing stack rather than install base alone.
